What Are AAC Standard Bricks?

Standard bricks are the most common and widely used bricks in construction. They are small, rectangular blocks made from clay or similar materials and are usually fired in a kiln for strength and durability. Known for their uniform size and shape, standard bricks offer consistency in construction, making them ideal for both structural and decorative applications. In India, the standard modular brick size is 190mm x 90mm x 90mm (length x width x height). When mortar is included, the nominal size becomes 200mm x 100mm x 100mm, ensuring ease in planning and execution on site.
